Film Socialisme

// Plot_Synopsis

Formally an experimental film, mixing together fiction, archive images and contemplative shots, Film Socialism is a complex work that is challenging to tell. Divided into three parts, the film introduces characters who cross each other' paths and exchange parts of quotations, wandering or concentric reflections. Through each of their voices, Godard tells us about Europe and what it has become today from his director's point of view. Between a disillusioned look and the hope that he produces, the film maker creates a film that is free from any imposed rule, a liberated movie, made in spite of the classical standards of cinema.
